LSAC PLUS Program

The Law School Admissions Council Prelaw Undergrad Scholars (PLUS) Program at the University of Memphis School of Law invites currently enrolled college students from diverse or underrepresented backgrounds to join us this summer for a first-hand introduction to the legal field through LSAC PLUS.

HIGHLIGHTS

• This program is geared toward local students who live in, near or within driving distance of Memphis
• Learn if a legal career is right for you.
• Develop the confidence and skills to succeed in the law school application process.
• Network with practicing lawyers, court representatives, current law students, and law school admissions counselors.
• Each PLUS student receives a $1,000 stipend upon completion of the program.
• Single-occupancy dorm housing available for non-Memphis residents.
• LSAC will provide laptops and internet access for the duration of the program free of charge for admitted students in need of such assistance.

APPLICATION

• Summer 2023 application opens January 1; deadline to apply is April 14.
• Applicants must be current college students.
• Letter of interest, an official transcript, & at least one letter of reference required for application.
• Program is focused on diverse students or those with under-represented backgrounds.
