Brief Biography 

Dr. Mary Boudreaux obtained an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership with a minor in Educational Leadership from Texas Southern University. Her research interests are instructional leadership, teacher leadership, and multiculturalism/diversity. Previously, she worked as a Director of Curriculum, principal, and education specialist in Texas. She has also taught developmental education at the community college level and earned a certificate from Appalachian State University in Developmental Education.

Dr. Boudreaux has taught courses on organizational and educational leadership, instructional leadership, adult learning and leadership, curriculum development, change leadership, and personnel administration in the educational leadership program at the University of Memphis. She has over 20 years of professional experience in PreK-12, post-secondary (two-year colleges), and higher education working with diverse populations. This experience as a scholar-practitioner combined with her research and teaching in educational leadership and curriculum development gives her a broad perspective on both practical and theoretical issues in the field of leadership education.
