Dean's Message to Students
During this challenging time and unprecedented circumstances, the College – faculty, staff, and students – all follow CDC recommendations and adhere to requirements by practice settings (as they are emerging). Some hospitals have suspended nursing students while some are planning to do so. Healthcare providers, including RNs, across point of care are deployed to care for those in urgent need, and practice settings limit the number of people entering amid COVID-19 and PPE availability. Faculty are developing simulated clinicals and teaching/learning via online, eCourseware, simulation, and tech-enabled tools.
Faculty will communicate with students about details on how their course will be delivered
and completed for the spring semester by March 20.
Your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we plan how best to move forward. We uphold high quality academic offerings while being adaptive, flexible, and considerate.
