About Rebecca Burrow
Rebecca is a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor who teaches Maternal Child Nursing didactic and Practicum, as well as other didactic and clinical courses in the undergraduate nursing program at the Lambuth Campus.
She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been in nursing education since 2017. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing Education from Union University. She is pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She has more than 25 years of experience in high-risk perinatal nursing, labor & delivery, NICU, and CCU. Her primary interest is in high-risk Labor and Delivery. She has a specific interest in assisting families dealing with perinatal loss.
She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, National League for Nursing, Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, and the West Tennessee Nurse Practitioners Alliance.
