About Lauren Williams
Lauren Williams has been in nursing education since 2015 with a primary interest in foundational nursing skills and community health in undergraduate nursing students. She currently teaches full-time in the undergraduate nursing program on the Lambuth Campus and serves on the Student Affairs committee. Her courses include Foundations of Patient-Centered Care, Foundational Nursing Skills, and Community Health Practicum.
Williams is also a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in an urgent care facility. She serves, as secretary for the West Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Alliance, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, American Nurses Association, and Tennessee Nurses Association.
Williams received her BSN from Union University in 2008 and MSN in Nursing Education in 2015 where she was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award, and in 2016 completed her Family Nurse Practitioner.
