Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
The Loewenberg College of Nursing BSN Program is a five-semester (2.5 years), full-time program offered at the Memphis and Lambuth campuses. Summer terms may be offered, but are not guaranteed, due to faculty availability, clinical sites, and other resources. Student who have already earned a Bachelor’s degree or higher are eligible for the 5-semester Traditional BSN program or the 4-semester Accelerated Program. All nursing students must complete the General Education Curriculum required for all students at the University of Memphis.

IMPORTANT BSN PROGRAM UPDATES
LCON is undergoing a major revision to its BSN curriculum in order to continue our alignment with The Essentials: Core Competencies for Professional Nursing Education, as outlined by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. This major revision will go into effect for students starting at LCON beginning in the Fall 2023 semester and more in-depth information and next step recommendations will be forthcoming.
