REGISTRATION STARTS FEBRUARY 8, 2019!

The 30th annual TNAPPA conference will be taking place this year at the University of Memphis, May 13-14, 2019. TNAPPA (Tennessee Association of Physical Plant Administrators) is the statewide association for all educational facilities professionals in Tennessee. The event will provide facilities personnel the opportunity to network with peers throughout the state as well as Business Partners, many of who will be exhibiting the state of the art products and services. The conference program will include campus tours, educational workshops, and will feature exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services.

Registration includes the welcome reception and dinner on Tuesday May 13, breakfast, breaks, lunch, and workshops.

Tour Information

Self-guided campus walking tours are encouraged throughout the event. A treasure hunt will be located in the Conference Program Guide of your registration packet. We invite you to travel into some of our buildings to discover some of the hidden treasures located throughout our campus.
Self-guided Walking Tour Maps will be available in your registration packet.

Additionally, you can select from one of two tour times that will be conducted Monday, 13, 2019 of the University of Memphis Park Avenue Campus. Tours will include an interior tour of the new Laurie-Walton Family Basketball Center and Community Health Building.

Tour 1: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13 – Park Avenue

Call for Proposals

The upcoming TNAPPA Annual Conference will include fifteen 45-minute workshops; Tuesday, May 14th. The conference is an opportunity to provide information and education to facilities professionals from higher education institutions throughout Tennessee. Speakers often cover topics related to facilities maintenance, management, administration, repairs and improvements, as well as construction, but other topics that would provide professional development for the conference participants are also welcome.

To be considered as a presenter, please submit the following to kjhnsn36@memphis.edu.

  • Name, credentials and brief biography of presenter(s)
  • Name of organization and type (government, private, non-profit)
  • Title of Presentation
  • Short narrative
  • Presentation materials
  • Audio/visual needs

Proposals will be accepted through Friday, March 8, 2019. A confirmation email will be sent upon receipt of your materials for consideration by the 2019 TNAPPA Conference Committee and final selection and notification to the presenters will be provided by Friday, March 15, 2019.
