New Faculty Learning Community Launches for Foundational Grant Pursuit – Fall 2025

Designed for faculty who are interested in pursuing foundation funding but have either not yet applied or have not secured funding in recent years.

 
The Division of Research & Innovation is excited to announce the launch of a Faculty Learning Community for Foundational Grant Pursuit, beginning May 2025. This opportunity is designed for faculty who are interested in pursuing foundation funding but have either not yet applied or have not secured funding in recent years.
 
Open to faculty from all disciplines, the cohort will meet monthly during the Fall 2025 semester, with the goal of completing a grant proposal by January 2026. Participants will engage in sessions covering essential topics such as:
 
  • Identifying grant opportunities, with an emphasis on foundation funding
  • Understanding funding solicitations and aligning proposals to funding calls
  • Developing effective grant budgets
  • Marketing oneself to funding agencies through biosketches and CVs
  • Resubmitting unfunded proposals and responding to reviewer feedback
