Program Description: Global Foundations in Costa Rica is designed to provide elective credits for TRIO participants. You can choose from a variety of courses taught in English at Veritas University in San Jose, Costa Rica. These three credits will transfer back to your UofM degree at the end of the summer.
Program Cost Includes:
- $350 Application fee
- 3 credit hours of tuition at Veritas University
- Homestay with a single room
- Breakfast and dinner daily
- Airport pickup
- Course materials/books
- Cultural tours and excursions
- On-site advisor
The program Fee Does Not Include: international round-trip airfare (approx. $700), medical insurance (approx. $45), housing security deposit ($300 refundable), daily lunches, optional excursions, and personal expenses
