Preparing for Summer
This may seem early, but now is the time for students to begin making plans for the
summer. Many students may take the summer to do an internship to prepare them for
their desired career. Internships are a great way for students to learn about a career
and get valuable hands on learning that will supplement their in class learning.
The Office of Academic Internships and Career Services offers great opportunities for students. Encourage your student to attend the Career and Internship Fair on March 4 in the UC Ballroom between 10 am and 3 pm to meet with employers. Students
can also meet with the office of Academic Internships or Career Services at any time.
Do you need verification that you student is enrolled for medical insurance, car insurance,
or anything else? Students can request enrollment verification from the National Student Clearinghouse or from the Registrar’s office. For complete details on how to request enrollment verification, please click here.
