Master of Science in Nursing - Executive Leadership

Ranked #17 nationally by the U.S. News and World Report, the Loewenberg College of Nursing’s online graduate nursing programs provide quality, convenient education at an affordable cost. The Executive Leadership concentration is based upon well-founded principals, including the Magnet Recognition Program, The American Organization of Nurse Executives’ competencies and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellows Program.

The MSN – Executive Leadership track is a 37-credit hour program with curriculum that aligns to the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® components, with which the Executive Leadership partners. EMSN offers online coursework, on-campus intensives and trips to national conferences.

The program prepares nurses for management and executive positions in a variety of settings. Fees cover all course resources, books, and expenses for on-campus intensives four times a year and two conferences. The Executive Leadership concentration partners with the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program.


Admissions Criteria

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
  • 2.8 GPA (minimum)
  • RN license (active)
  • Please note: GRE is NOT required
