Important notice: Effective January 1, 2018, tax law requires all educational institutions to report payments received for qualified tuition and related expenses (QTRE) in Box 1 of the Form 1098-T. Scholarships & Grants awarded during the calendar year will continue to be shown in Box 5.
Families filing a U.S. tax return may be eligible for educational tax credits when claiming their University of Memphis student as a dependent. Students that have not consented to receive their 1098-T statements electronically will have a paper statement mailed to them by January 31st.
Students also have the option to view and print online using the following instructions:
- Go to heartland.ecsi.net
- Click "Tax Documents" and "Click Here To Search For Your Tax Form"
- Enter "University of Memphis" for the School Name and click "Submit"
