The participants of this trip will have the unique opportunity to attend the 2010 World Expo which Shanghai is hosting this summer. Encounter authentic Chinese culture and customs for healthy living and wellness through visits to Shanghai Chinese Medical College, Museums, Yu-Fu-Shi Temple, and a lecture at Shanghai Normal University. The students will also learn healing properties of food, the ancient Chinese practice of Tai Chi, and visit tranquil gardens and teahouses on day trips to Hangzhou, Suzhou and the Chinese water village of Zhou Zhuang. This trip is sure to broaden your understanding of health and wellness and show you the thriving metropolis of Shanghai, it’s people, and culture at its best.
