Internships have been recommended by the Commission on Public Relations Education for years. A school can't establish a PRSSA student chapter unless an internship is part of the core curriculum. Maybe they know something about internships that we should pay attention to. Internships bridge the classroom experience with the applied world. It builds the support network so necessary for that first job. Whether you take it for credit or just do it on your own, just do it.
