Identify Funding Sources
The University subscribes to a grant searching software called GrantForward. Create an Institutional Account (it's free) and use all the features to find funding.
One source for federal grant information is grants.gov.
The NSF Guide to Programs is the primary source for National Science Foundation programs and funding opportunities.
Contact the University of Memphis Research Development Office for additional information regarding funding opportunities.
Some systems require Principal Investigators, Co-Investigators, and other project personnel to be registered in the sponsor online systems before applications may be submitted. The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) personnel often must complete these on behalf of the PI, especially for federal government systems. Please work with your OSP administrator to discuss and complete any required registrations as soon as possible before submission.
All personnel working on research projects funded by the National Institute of Health and included in annual Research Performance Progress Reports (RPPR) must be registered in the ERACommons system. Notify your OSP administrator of any required registrations before you begin your report.
