The Tunnel of Oppression

The Tunnel of Oppression will be on the University of Memphis campus April 6th and 7th in the University Center Ballroom from 4pm to 8pm both nights.

The Tunnel is an experience that allows participants to step into others' shoes. It is a walk through event that has you make stops in different situations. Each scene has the audience address issues that deal with race, sexuality, religion, gender, nationality and much more.  We hope to give people the opportunity to surround themselves with new unfamiliar environments. Each tour will be followed by a brief reception/discussion to address the impact we have and how we can make change on our campus and in our community.
