Availability of Class Listings
The University of Memphis produces class listings for each of its semesters (Fall,
Spring, and Summer). Generally speaking, the Spring version is available in mid-October,
and the Summer and Fall versions are available in mid-March. Check availability online at these times. When the listings are available, they will appear as a term selection
option in either the Class Schedule Search or Look Up Classes. Please see "Are you
either a current student or an Applicant?" below for more information.
Please be aware that the University's course offerings and requirements are subject to revision.
Are you either a current student or an applicant?
- NO: I'm thinking about enrolling and want to see what you offer.
Use the Class Schedule Search. This allows you to view dynamic, up-to-date course offerings via the web, but does
not require a login. (You cannot use Look Up Classes.)
- YES: I need to plan my schedule.
Use Look Up Classes:
- Login to the portal.
- Click on the Student tab.
- Select Look Up Classes from the Registration Tools channel.
- (You can also use the Class Schedule Search feature, but most students prefer to use Look Up Classes because it displays results
more compactly than the Class Schedule Search and because, while registration is open,
Look Up Classes allows you to register for a course by selecting it and clicking on
the [Register] button.)
Searching for Offerings
Both Look Up Classes and Class Schedule Search provide you with the capability of searching on a combination of criteria (Subject,
Credit Hours, Campus Code, Instructor, etc.). Thus, it is possible for you to produce
very specific lists of classes--online classes only, classes taught by a particular
instructor, classes offered at a particular off-campus site, classes offered in only
one part-of-term, etc.
For tips on using course search features and interpreting results, see our Student Self Service Help page. (Note: The Interpreting Results page applies only to Look Up Classes.)
