Oh, yeah — You’re in!

You’re MEMbound—let’s celebrate!

Create your own customized announcement or video and tag @uofmemphis on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok to share your big decision!

What now?

Now that you're admitted, be sure to complete these steps:

1 Register for New Student Orientation (NSO)

NSO prepares you for life as a Tiger. Attend solo or bring a parent/guest to begin the college transition together. Get answers to burning questions about college life, financial aid, getting involved, student services and more. Starting in March, confirmed students can select their summer NSO date.

2 Set Up Your MyMemphis Account

Initialize your account by using the 20-digit code found in your acceptance letter.

3 Access Your @memphis.edu Email

After initializing your account, you will need to set up your university email. It’s important to check your email daily as this is how the UofM will communicate with you. Set up your email from your phone so you never miss any notifications about your classes or campus activities.

Access Email >

4 Enroll in DUO Account Security

All students are required to enroll in DUO multi-factor authentication to protect their accounts.

Duo Account Security >

5 Review and Accept Your Scholarships

Log into Tiger Scholarship Manager to review and accept scholarship offers. Check your Financial Aid status in your MyMemphis account, submit outstanding documentation and accept your awards.

6 Apply for Housing and Choose a Meal Plan

Home at Last — UofM housing has become a popular demand for students over the past decade! These aren't your parents' dorms. You'll discover a contemporary and cool vibe. Living on campus is a feeling that's unmatched — full of energy, friendships, independence, spirit and fun. Studies show that students who choose to stay in on-campus housing graduate in four years and have higher GPAs.

Dining — You will find great eats scattered throughout campus. The main hubs for dining are centrally located in the middle of campus and include an all-you-can-eat cafeteria with take-out options, coffee shops, markets, sit-down restaurants and popular fast-food chains. Lots of students sign up for meal plans, and you can also add flex bucks to your account to use between meals at popular spots around campus.

7 Finalize your Financial Aid

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available in the winter, using UofM’s school code on your application: 003509. Check your Financial Aid status in your MyMemphis account, submit outstanding documentation and accept your awards.
