Para Pro Assessment
The ParaPro Assessment is a computerized exam that measures the reading, writing and
basic math competencies of practicing and prospective paraprofessionals. In accordance
with the No Child Left Behind Act, the ParaPro Assessment can be used
to certify teacher's aides and assistants in the instruction of these subjects to
school aged children. The ParaPro Assessment exam consists of 90 questions with an
allotted time of 150 minutes.
Registration Information

ParaPro Assessment exams are offered at both the University of Memphis Main and Lambuth campus locations.

The administration fee for the ParaPro Assessment is $35 + service fee. Candidates may select an exam date and pay their registration fee through our secure payment link below. (Please note that you must schedule your exam 48 hours prior to your requested test date and cancel or reschedule your exam 24 hours before your scheduled exam).
- In addition to your administration fee, a $55 exam fee paid to ETS is required on the day of testing and is payable by Debit/Credit only.

On Exam Day:

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time; arriving more than 15 minutes after your scheduled reporting time will forfeit your exam fee and your will be required to reschedule.

A valid government issued photo ID with signature is required for testing.
