About Shan Arnold

Shan Arnold provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to the General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Tax departments. She has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable and finance within the profit and non-profit sectors. Shan works closely with the Controller to provide a OneTeam concept among departments which leads to accountabilities and premier customer services. Before joining the University of Memphis in 2019, she served as the Controller at Baptist Memorial Healthcare for many years.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Jackson State University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Webster University.
