Individual Tour Requirements and Guidelines

We’re so glad you’re interested in the University of Memphis, and we can’t wait to have you on our Central Campus in Memphis, Tennessee. Student-led tours are held Monday through Friday at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm (with the exception of University closings). The tour consists of an information session led by an Admissions representative, followed by a 60-minute walking tour led by a student tour guide. Tours are conducted rain or shine, so please dress appropriately.

Advance Registration is Required

All visitors must register 72 hours in advance of arriving to the University of Memphis. Campus tours are limited to one (1) prospective student and two (2) guests. This capacity limit will be strictly enforced.

What to Expect

Check-In Process

On the day of your scheduled campus visit, please check in for your on-campus experience no more than 10 minutes prior to your visit time. You can do so at the welcome desk located in Wilder Tower (3675 Alumni Avenue, Memphis, TN 38152).

Parking

We recommend that guests park in the Southern Avenue Parking Garage listed as PG3 on the campus map. Parking is free for guests and you will receive your parking pass in the confirmation email that you receive after you register. Please print that pass and display it on your dash when you park.
