About

Jessica McClure is the Virtual Instruction Librarian at the University of Memphis. She works with faculty and staff to create instructional materials for courses and enhance the University Libraries’ online instructional presence. She meets with students and faculty online and in the classroom setting to help them be successful in their courses. She assists student, faculty, and staff at the Reference Assistance Desk and Chat. She works as the Chair and ongoing member of various University of Memphis committees focusing on online instruction and accessibility. She is an advocate for intellectual freedom, serving as Co-Chair of the Intellectual Freedom Committee of the Tennessee Library Association..
