The Feature CD of the Week is from pianist Pete Malinverni and it is a gospel jazz album titled Heaven. It is one of those albums that not only provides a great jazz sound, but also suggests inspiration and promise.

Memphis entertainer Brennan Villines is playing tunes at Lafayette's in Midtown Memphis on Thursday, July 27th. "The Brennan Villines Trio" has gained popularity throughout the Mid-South for the past few years.

SUSAN MARSHALL BAND PLAYING AT LAFAYETTE'S

On July 29th, Lafayette's Music Hall presents Soulful Tennessee-based singer/songwriter Susan Marshall in concert. She began her music career as a classical singer before becoming a successful backup vocalist.

U.S. NAVY BAND PLAY ON-CAMPUS

Jazz Lovers are invited to come and hear the Commodores Jazz Ensemble on November 3rd. The Commodores have been performing the very best of big band jazz for the Navy and the nation for over 40 years.
