Training

Training will be one of the most critical components of our transition to Oracle Cloud. Successfully navigating from current systems and processes into a future based in Oracle Cloud will require new knowledge, skills and ample opportunities to engage with and learn a new way of working through finance and human resources processes.

Assigned training is being determined first by persona and then by business role, therefore, your required courses will be assigned based on your role. The courses below are categorized by persona links will be included once published. Course titles are subject to change.

Navigate Benefits Self Service, handle direct deposits and generate payslips. Set and track development and performance goals, perform self-evaluations and provide peer feedback.   • VILT/WBT: Expense Management/Employee Expense Processing
    • This focused course is designed to provide users with essential skills in managing expenses within Oracle Finance. Participants will learn how to create and approve pre-authorizations, create and approve expense reports, audit expense reports and reimburse expenses. Through practical exercises and demonstrations, this course will enable you to efficiently manage and streamline expense processes within Oracle Finance.

  • WBT: Managing Time and Attendance
    • This course provides an overview of time and attendance management using Oracle HCM. It covers essential topics such as entering and managing weekly time, reviewing and approving time cards and utilizing the time and labor dashboard and reports. Users will learn how to view and manage current and historical time cards, handle team schedules and manage absences. The course also includes instructions on managing time entries, delegating time and labor tasks, and creating time entries on behalf of employees.

  • WBT: Talent Management
    • This course is designed to provide users with an understanding of talent management using Oracle HCM. It covers essential topics such as competency and profile management, performance and goal management, feedback and review processes, and performance evaluation and improvement for both faculty and staff. Additionally, the course delves into talent management and succession planning, equipping participants with the skills needed to develop and retain top talent within their organization.

    • This course is designed to provide users with the essential skills and knowledge required to effectively manage and optimize Oracle Finance systems.
