The Leadership and Policy Studies (LDPS) Program is nationally recognized for excellence
in leadership preparation, policy analysis, and practitioner-focused scholarship.
Students learn alongside nationally and internationally renowned faculty whose work
shapes educational leadership practice across K–12 systems, higher education, and
public policy contexts.
Designed for working professionals, the LDPS Master of Science (MS), Principal License
Program and Doctor of Education (EdD) programs combine rigorous coursework with applied
learning to prepare graduates for leadership roles in K–12 schools, higher education
institutions, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector.
The MS degree can be completed in as few as three semesters and includes principal
licensure upon completion. For applicants who already hold a master’s degree, the
principal licensure program may also be completed in three semesters. A five-semester
MS option is available for students who prefer a more flexible pace while balancing
professional responsibilities.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with priority consideration given to
submissions received by November 1 and April 1 for each semester.
