Mark manages the Center’s finances and operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong internal controls. He develops budgets and forecasts, prepares and reconciles financial documents, and maintains internal accounting systems and reports. He oversees accounts payable, procurement, and fiscal activities, provides financial data for annual reports, and resolves discrepancies. On the grants and contracts side, Mark monitors expenditures, reconciles accounts, processes fund transfers, and advises faculty and staff on compliance requirements. He also coordinates with university offices on contracts, invoicing, and effort certification. In addition, Mark supports Center administration by assisting with hiring, training, staff supervision, and HR processes.

Mark rejoined the University of Memphis in Fall 2025, having previously worked in the Athletic Business Office from 2014–2020. He brings more than 17 years of higher education business and finance experience from institutions including the University of North Texas, Radford University, UNC-Asheville, and William & Mary. He has also been a broadcaster for NCAA championships and campus athletics and served as Vice President of the University of Memphis Staff Senate. Before higher education, Mark managed a baseball and softball training facility and worked game-day operations for professional sports teams. A New Jersey native, he lives in Memphis with his wife, Justine, and their pets.
