CREP is a non-profit research center located at the University of Memphis and is designated as a State of Tennessee Center of Excellence. For nearly 25 years, its primary mission has been to conduct research and evaluation in K-12 schools. As a long-term contributor to the educational research field, CREP has extensive experience in research design, execution, and program implementation evaluation across the country including school, district, statewide, and multi-state programs. CREP currently employs a staff of about ten trained researchers, practitioners, and research assistants. Qualifications include: research and evaluation design; Instrument development and validation; experience conducting large scale evaluations in over 20 states; a fully staffed statistics department with experience managing and analyzing large data sets of both qualitative and quantitative tools; experience developing and running quasi-experimental and Randomized Control Trials (RCTs); and thorough knowledge and application of What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) procedures and standards.
