Human Resources
Oracle has arrived!
Beginning January 5, 2026, the University's new ERP system, Oracle Fusion, is live!
You may access Oracle Fusion in the MyMemphis portal under the new Oracle Fusion tile, or you may go directly to memphis.edu/oracle.
Notice: In order to implement changes to improve the functionality of timecards in Oracle, timecards will be temporarily unavailable while an update is applied. Employees using the time clock devices (with TCP) will still be able to clock in and clock out on that device as usual. A subsequent message will be sent when the timecards are available for use. Thank you for your patience during this process.
If you need help as you begin to use the new system, keep in mind that the following resources are available to assist you:
Phone Support
Call the University Helpdesk at (901) 678-8888 for front line assistance. You may
also contact the Human Resources Service Center at (901) 678-3573 or hrservicecenter@memphis.edu.
Training
Many traiing resources are available, including:
- 24/7 online training
- Recordings of previous live trainings
- Future in-person sessions
- Training Quick Guides for the following topics:
All training resources are linked from the SOAR project website.
Helpdesk Tickets
A special category has been added to the University's helpdesk ticketing system for Oracle issues. If your question falls into any of the following scenarios, a helpdesk ticket is a good resource to use:
- "Something is broken."
- "Something is missing."
- "This system or page isn't functioning correctly."
- "My access to the system is not correct."
You can enter an Oracle helpdesk ticket here.
Office Hours
HR staff will be available to assist employees with a variety of actions in Oracle's HCM module as needed in our online Office Hours (2-4pm weekdays from Jan. 28 thru 30, then 2-4pm Mondays & Wednesdays starting Feb. 2 thru Feb. 25).

- 2-4pm Mondays & Wednesdays starting Feb. 2 thru Feb. 25: Join here
The Office Hours will be manned for the opening weeks of Oracle's go-live period. If your question is among the following, a in-person visit to the online Office Hours may be a good idea:
- "How do you do this?"
- "Where do I find this?"
- "Why does this look different?"
- "I didn't come to training and I don't know what I am doing."
Things to Keep in Mind
- Monthly time cards (leave reports) for January 2026 are due by January 20, 2026. Keep in mind that monthly time cards are due on the 20th of the month in Oracle. Estimate any leave usage for the rest of the month, and correct later if needed.
- Faculty self-appraisals will be released on January 12, 2026. Online training is available here.
- Biweekly time cards are next due by the close of business on January 23, 2026. Online training is available here.
- The new Direct Hire (e-contract) module is now online & available for entry. Online
help modules are available here.
Trouble Accessing Oracle?
- The majority of inquiries that we have received about not seeing content within Oracle is because the emplyee is not authenticated to the University's VPN. Try signing in to the VPN, log out of your broswer entirely, then go back in. If you need assistance, please contact your LTSP or call the ITS Service Desk at 901.678.8888.
- Other users may have to change some settings in their web browsers. Instructions for that are available here. Your LTSP can help with these instructions as well.
- If you still do not see appropriate content once in Oracle, please complete a helpdesk ticket describing the issue. Screenshots being attached to your helpdesk can be a real help.
