Housing

All F-1 international students are strongly recommended to confirm the housing arrangement before arriving in Memphis. The International Student Services office does not help students to arrange housing. Please look at the housing options listed below and make arrangement as soon as you have confirmed the arrival. 

The University of Memphis provide on-campus housing for F-1 international students, please visit the Residence Life for more information. For international graduate students, you can apply for off-campus housing through our unversity HERE.  

If you plan to rent off-campus, you should not pay a deposit or sign a lease until you have seen the apartment and where it is located. 

There is a Holiday Inn on campus, which may serve as a temporary housing option. The Holiday Inn is located on the main campus at 3700 Central Avenue, Memphis, TN 38111. Please call 901.678.8200 for rates and more information.
