Softdocs Implementation

Project Scope:
Softdocs Etrieve platform combines electronic forms and workflow automation functionality into an easily scalable, seamless experience for every user. E-forms can be completed online and routed through dynamic workflows, created by Etrieve’s drag-and-drop workflow designer. Softdocs will provide a user-friendly tool and is cost efficient for the university.

Benefits:

  • Data fields can be pre-populated with Banner data, ensuring data consistency
  • Data provided on Softdocs can be mapped and uploaded to Banner, reducing data entry by staff
  • Detailed audit history tracks documents through workflows and provides real time updates
  • Graphical workflow designer makes it simple to build and manage workflows
  • Product is delivered with many higher education form templates that can be adapted for department needs
  • Document repository delivered in Softdocs may be considered as the official document repository, potentially saving money, limiting need to index, and increasing process efficiencies
