The following lesson plans are associated with the Art Museum of the University of Memphis' African art gallery titled "Windows on Africa." They are intended to be used by educators and parents looking to bolster their curriculum. They are for grades K-12 that cover the TN Core Subjects, Art, and STEAM that tie into the African art and culture we display in our gallery. We also recommend pairing these lesson plans with a trip to the museum to immerse yourself in the traditional pieces we have on display.
