Q: Can the students on Academic Alert, Academic Notice or returning from Academic Deferment Drop or Withdraw from a class?

A: Yes. Academically, it is better for a student to drop or withdraw from a course because earning a “D” or “F” will have a negative impact on their GPA and possibly lead to Academic Deferment.
