  • LGBTQ Week October 21st – 25th
  • De-Centering Stonewall: Exploring LGBTQ+ History Beyond the Stonewall Uprising
  • LGBTQ Support Group | Fridays 1:00 - 2:00 pm
    • In order to sign-up for group, visit the Counseling Center in 214 Wilder Tower during walk-in hours to schedule an individual intake appointment.

  • Welcoming Diversity Forum
    • Where: Psychology Building Room 206
    • When: November, 8 from 12:00 to 12:55 pm
    • Description: This month's forum will feature a presentation, "Why I Must Come Out," from Geena Rocero, and a discussion to follow.
    • Bring your lunch, as refreshments will be served.
  • Walt Whitman/Brian Selznick Diversity & Inclusion Event
    • Presentation by Brian Selznick, world-renown author-illustrator and Karen Karbeiner, world-renown Walt-Whitman scholar discussing the significance of Walt Whitman's poems about his romantic and sexual attraction for men, Selznick's illustrations, and the relevance of this publication to the LGBTQ+ community.

  • Before You Leap
    • Are you thinking about or planning on getting married? Love Doesn't Hurt presents a forum to address questions in regards to property, power of attorney, wills, estates, custody, and many more with attorneys from the Community Legal Center & Memphis Area Legal Services.  The Tennessee Equality Project will provide updates on upcoming legislation.

  • What the L.G.B.T.Q.+ Panel Series

    • Love Doesn't Hurt presents this interactive panel series. Each event focuses on the unique barriers and challenges that come with identifying with particular identities within the LGBTQ+ community.
