Toolkit

The University of Memphis Institute on Disability (UMID) Toolkit is designed to provide a resource for post-secondary programs that serve students with moderate to severe exceptionalities including intellectual disabilities (ID) and autism. The Toolkit is designed to support educators with designing lessons that emphasize employability skills, provide services associated with job placement and ensure effective instruction is taking place overall within post-secondary and transition programs. In alignment with the UMID's mission, the Toolkit provides a forum for educators to support people with physical and developmental disabilities through assistance in finding meaningful and lasting employment.

While we continue to develop the Toolkit, please contact us at umid@memphis.edu
