Master of Public Health - Epidemiology

The School of Public Health at The University of Memphis offers a CEPH-accredited Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Epidemiology. The online MPH epidemiology program has the same format as the on-campus program, requiring 42 credit hours that include completion of an applied practical experience and either a master’s project or thesis. The Epidemiology program curriculum focuses on epidemiologic methods and research skills such as study design, data collection methods, analysis, and interpretation and reporting of data. The Master of Public Health – Epidemiology track prepares MPH program graduates for positions in health systems, public health settings, and governmental agencies, to identify risk factors for disease, factors that determine the distribution of health and disease in human populations, and to aid in planning and evaluating the effectiveness of public health programs.
