Welcome to the College of Health Sciences—an academic community shaped by inquiry, driven by purpose, and grounded in service.
We are home to nearly 60 full-time faculty and staff who support approximately 1,600 declared majors across six undergraduate degrees, nine graduate programs, four undergraduate minors, and one graduate certificate. In 2026, we will launch our Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Memphis Lambuth campus in Jackson, Tennessee. Our Healthcare Career Academy further extends hands-on training across multiple healthcare disciplines.
Discovery is central to who we are. Our faculty are nationally and internationally recognized researchers whose work spans cellular mechanisms to real-world health application.
Above all, we are dedicated to our students. We welcome your feedback, and I personally encourage you to reach out.
