Maximal Graded Exercise Test

A graded exercise test records your body's response to physical activity to measure your fitness level and athletic capacity. We currently offer this test on a treadmill, during which you will exercise at increasingly more difficult workloads until you reach exhaustion (typically 8-12 minutes). Your fitness is measured by analyzing the air expired by your lungs, while your heart rate is monitored. Blood pressure data is collected before the test. Analysis will detail your overall cardiorespiratory output and ventilatory thresholds to guide your training zones.

Cost is $150 payable by check to the University of Memphis.
