Applied AI is the practical use of AI to solve specific, real-world problems. The Graduate Certificate in Applied AI offered through the MIS Department at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics is a four-course program that can be taken post-bachelor’s degree, post-master’s degree or as part of a master’s degree program. The Graduate Certificate can be earned in as little as one academic year.

The Applied AI Graduate Certificate is a 12-credit hour/four-course program.
- MIS 7622 – Advanced AI Prompt Engineering
- MIS 7623 – AI-Assisted Application Development
- MIS 7624 – AI-Assisted Analytics
- MIS 7625 – AI-Assisted Database Management
