With the emerging reliance on project management practices, organizations are consistently searching for qualified employees with knowledge and proven skills in project management standards and innovative practices.
The Graduate Certificate in Business Project Management offered through the MIS Department at the Fogelman College of Business and Economics is a four-course program that can be taken post-bachelor’s degree, post-master’s degree or as part of a master’s degree program.
This program is designed to provide, prepare and develop the necessary skills for business professionals to succeed in project management teamwork and leadership. The program has a specific emphasis on managing projects that integrate information systems, business strategy and business processes.

The Business Project Management Certificate is a 12-credit hour/four course program.

- MIS 7605 – Business Database Systems (3)
- MIS 7610 – Systems Analysis and Design (3)
- MIS 7671 – Project/Change Management (3)
- MIS 6672 – Project Management Tools (3)

U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, awarded by an accredited college or university. The MSIS program will consider three-year degrees from accredited institutions.
