What influenced your decision to attend Herff College of Engineering?

For my undergraduate I decided to attend Herff due to location to home and finances, as I received full ride to the university based off merit scholarships through Herff and the University combined. After studying for my undergraduate, I decided that the environment aligned with my desires in a university and college and applied for graduate school.

Who was your most impactful professor? Why?

Dr. Hasan Ali, my advisor, has not only helped me progress as a graduate student but also provided lots of insight and support in undergraduate studies. He also taught some of my most enjoyable courses from undergraduate.

What support(s) did you have during your time as a college student? How did you keep focused on the goal?

One thing that has truly helped my time at Herff is the faculty of the college. Faculty members like Isaiah Surbrook, Betsy Loe, and countless others have directly helped numerous times to guide me through my academic and personal problems, in times of need.

Was your Herff experience worth the price? If you could do it over again, what would you do differently?

Yes, Herff was worth it for me. The college as a whole continues to provided me with worthwhile development not only academically but also professionally.
