Dr. Amy de Jongh Curry, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs & Administration and Professor, Biomedical Engineering

Amy de Jongh Curry, PhD, is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Administration in the Herff College of Engineering at the University of Memphis (UofM). She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UofM and holds an adjunct position in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Biomedical Engineering at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) through the Joint Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering at UofM/UTHSC. Her research activities focus on cardiac and neural electroceutical therapies with applications in cardiac and neuromodulation to diagnose or treat disorders via implantable or noninvasive stimulation devices.
Dr. Yuan Gao, Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering

Dr. Yuan Gao is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Memphis. Her research focuses on acoustic microfluidics, tumor-on-a-chip systems, and advanced biomaterials for biomedical applications. She is passionate about developing innovative microdevices for disease diagnosis and personalized medicine.
Dr. Gao actively mentors undergraduate and graduate students in STEM fields.
