The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is the largest college at the University of Memphis, serving as a vibrant hub for research and innovation. It consists of 24 academic units, ROTC programs, and several research centers, including two Centers of Excellence. The college plays a vital role in shaping the majority of the university's undergraduate curriculum, offering over a quarter of a million credit hours of instruction each year and awarding nearly 1,100 bachelor's degrees.
CAS is committed to providing a strong general education across the humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and natural sciences, promoting the academic growth of its students.
