Oral Communication

COMM 2381: Oral Communication is a core curriculum course required of all degree-seeking undergraduate students at the University of Memphis. Designed to strengthen communication skills in academic, professional, and public settings, the course introduces students to the principles of effective speaking, audience analysis, critical thinking, and ethical communication.

Throughout the semester, students develop practical skills through speeches, presentations, written assignments, and collaborative activities. For section-specific policies, course requirements, and assignment information, please refer to your course syllabus.
