John M. Malloy, PhD, JD, CPA is a Professor of Accounting and Taxation at the University of Memphis. Dr. Malloy was the lead tax instructor for eleven years for the international accounting firm of KPMG Main Hurdman. He has spoken to the State Society of CPAs tax institutes of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New England and Vermont. He has consulted on two occasions in Moscow for Pricewaterhouse Coopers and on eleven occasions in Malaysia for Exxon. He currently teaches tax courses at the undergraduate level as well as in the masters of science program and has published articles in many leading tax journals.
