Java Update for Banner

After February 1, 2018, Banner INB users who receive a "Failed to validate certificate" message will need to update the Java client to the 1.8.151 or later.

Steps to update Java client on workstations

  1. Uninstall Java from the Control Panel/Programs and Features
  2. Restart PC
  3. Visit java.com and install the latest java (which is 1.8.161)
  4. Restart PC

Note: Use IE to access INB from the myMemphis portal.
