The University of Memphis School of Public Health invites you to be part of an exciting global initiative that is transforming how we engage youth in public health: the RE-AIM Public Health IDEAS Club program. In today's rapidly changing world, the importance of public health has never been more evident. We have a unique opportunity to empower the next generation of leaders to address critical health challenges and create positive change in their communities.

This initiative offers students the chance to enhance their own well-being while making a positive impact on the broader community. Guided by experts in the field, students will be encouraged to develop innovative solutions and explore strategies for addressing common public health challenges in local and global settings. They will collaborate to create deliverables and tangible products and services focused on key topics that are specifically relevant and tailored to the needs of their school and community.

Objectives:
  • Enhance youth's sensitivity to the field of public health.
  • Provide guidance for youth and their families to improve their physical and mental health.

Activities:
  • Public Health workshops.
  • Celebrating public health days.
  • Participate in community-based participatory research to generate data and develop meaningful information using informatics, and analytic skills.
  • Create public health campaigns in the community to inform about the pressing public health challenges using evidence-based information.
  • Participate in RE-AIM Public Health IDEAS Through the Lens of the Youth in the annual Hackathon.
