Cost and Affordability

The University of Memphis Student Financial Aid Office administers federal, state and institutional aid programs to qualified students. In order to apply for any federal aid for college, you must first fill out and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application is used by the federal government, state aid agencies, and institutions to determine your eligibility for many types of aid including grants, loans and even scholarships. The School of Public Health is not able to offer application fee waivers, but applicants are able to request fee waivers directly from SOPHAS that can be Financial-based, Service-based or International-based. The SOPHAS fee waiver assistance program application may be completed before submitting your application to the School of Public Health. NOTE: The University of Memphis School of Public Health does not require an additional supplemental application fee.

The School of Public Health will provide SOPHAS Express application coupon codes for applicants to our graduate certificate programs.
