Jump-start Your Public Health Journey Through the University of Memphis School of Public Health

In a rapidly changing world, innovative ideas are essential to improve health and well-being for everyone. This program emphasizes experiential learning by doing, engaging with communities and integrating “glocalization” into solution-focused approaches and transformative leadership. Available for credit transfer to the Undergraduate program in Public Health offered by University of Memphis School of Public Health.

Learn why Public health is more important than ever. This course covers the importance of data-driven decision-making to design and develop solutions that can impact the good health and well-being of all. Be a part of research in public health that guides innovative solutions to address public health challenges of the 21st century. Design and develop affordable and accessible technological innovations for public good to bring community change through Public Health Research, Innovation, Skills and Entrepreneurship with our 14-week curriculum below:

Public Health In Action is a Program for Future Global Changemakers

The Public Health In Action online, continuing education initiative is designed for students from around the world who are interested in exploring the cutting edge of health, science, and innovation, to build thriving communities. Collaborating global partners include: College of Public Health and Health Informatics at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (CPHHI-KSAU-HS), Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (MRV), East, Central and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA) and Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute.

Through this program, you will:

  • Discover real-world innovations in Public Health—and how artificial intelligence and other new technologies can solve today’s biggest public health challenges.
  • Learn how to dissect misinformation and disinformation in the public health space.
  • Dive into Public Health Diplomacy and learn how public health professionals navigate complex global health and healthcare issues by learning from global leaders in the field of public health.
  • Connect and collaborate with peers and public health experts from around the world, gaining cultural insights and building networks across borders.
