We are excited to officially announce the 2026–2027 Live at the Scheidt season at the Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center. This upcoming lineup brings together legendary artists, world-class musicians, comedy, and unforgettable live entertainment for audiences across Memphis and beyond.

From blues and jazz to theater, comedy, and genre-bending live music, this season delivers a dynamic range of performances designed to entertain, inspire, and bring audiences together.

September 26, 2026 | 7PM
Presented by Academy Award-winning actor and Mississippi native Morgan Freeman, this extraordinary production celebrates the history, spirit, and lasting influence of the blues. Featuring live musicians, powerful storytelling, and the rich sound of a symphony orchestra, the performance takes audiences on a moving journey through one of America’s most important musical traditions. In a city deeply connected to blues history, this promises to be a truly special evening.

Morgan Freeman’s production is a unique musical experience that will take place with or without his live presence. While Freeman is expected to attend, please note that his appearance is subject to change and not guaranteed. Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience single tickets and season ticket packages go on sale June 1.

Single ticket sales for all other Live at the Scheidt performances begin July 1.
