Student Academic Success Financial Support
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Division of Student Academic Success can support students financially in need. Students are encouraged to complete a General Tiger Scholarship application via Tiger Scholarship Manager to be considered for Student Academic Success scholarships.
- Bonita Lyons CARES Student Emergency Fund – unexpected financial need related to non-tuition academic expenses including but not limited to books, fees, access codes, etc.
- Dr. Karen Weddle-West Completion Scholarship – senior student in good academic standing. Must be a resident of Memphis metropolitan area and have demonstrated financial need.
- Exchange Club – Full-time, hearing impaired. If there are no qualified applicants, the scholarship can be awarded to a student training to be a teacher of the deaf.
- GRIT Initiative – a “last-dollar scholarship” that aims to cover the remaining tuition and fees after all other sources of financial aid have been exhausted. Student nominations are restricted to UofM Faculty/Staff. (Click Here)
- Hardin First Generation Scholarship – restricted to first-generation students in financial need.
- Poston Family Scholarship – full-time, first-year student, first-generation, resident of Desoto County, MS public high school.
- Schadt Foundation, Inc. Book Fund – Participant in TRiO Student Support Services Programs.
- William P. Roberts Memorial – 3.0 cumulative GPA, hearing impaired, committed to community service.
